MERCY ROCKFORD HEALTH SYSTEM: Mercyhealth Volunteers to Hold Annual Holiday Fundraisers

Mercy Rockford Health System issued the following announcement on Oct. 16.

The Mercyhealth Association of Volunteers is hosting its annual Holiday Markets in October and November in Janesville, Lake Geneva and Rockford.

Rockford, IL

Javon Bea Hospital-Riverside, 8201 E. Riverside Blvd., Rockford

Conference Rooms B1 and B2

October 29-30, 8 am-6 pm

Javon Bea Hospital-Rockton, 2400 N. Rockton Ave., Rockford, Café 2400

November 13-14, 8 am-6 pm

Shoppers will find a wide selection of merchandise including holiday home décor, lighted and framed art, gourmet foods and much more. Cash, VISA and MasterCard are accepted. Funds raised are used to support important projects like scholarships, the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile, medical equipment and patient comfort items.

Janesville, WI

Shoppers will find a wide selection of food items, holiday textiles, home décor, framed art, jewelry, gifts for babies and children and much more—all 25% off. Many items for sale are made in the USA. There will also be drawings for door prizes.

Funds raised by the Holiday Market are used to support important projects like House of Mercy Homeless Center, purchases for Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center and monies for scholarships given to high school/college-age students and adults who are pursuing an education in the health care field. The Association also raises funds through various volunteer projects, including the Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center Gift Shop, Castaways Thrift Shop and book and jewelry sales.

The silent auction includes decorated 2 foot and 3 foot holiday trees, gift baskets and holiday wreaths. Final bids must be submitted by 4 pm on November 12. Pick up items by 5 pm.

Shoppers will find a wide selection of holiday and Christmas gifts, as well as decorative items—all 25% off. Cash, VISA and MasterCard are accepted.
