Winnebago County issued the following announcement on Aug. 21.
Tough Mudder is organizing an event in the vicinity of Chicago-Rockford International Airport area on August, 24-25, 2019. Beginning at 5:00 AM, Saturday, August 24, 2019, Beltline Road between Kishwaukee Road to Baxter Road will closed to all traffic due to the event. The event will be concluded at 6:00 PM, Sunday, August 25, 2019 and Beltline Road will be re-opened to travelling public. Traffic control and detour route will be in place.
