City of Loves Park Public Works Committee met Dec. 12.
Here is the agenda provided by the committee:
I. Approval of Minutes
A. Approval of Minutes from the November 21, 2022 meeting.
II. Resolutions & Ordinances
A) Resolution authorizing the Water Department Manager to hire Dicky Staffing Solutions to provide clerical assistance at the water department for a period of one hundred twenty (260) working days.
B.) Resolution authorizing the Water Department Manager to hire Baxter and Woodman Consulting Engineers for continuing professional services for design, permitting, bidding and construction services for Well #7. Resolution 21-027 authorized $29,750.00 for these services, but the scope of the project has changed and will require further work with a total not to exceed cost of $70,000.00.
C.) Resolution authorizing the Water Department Manager is authorized to purchase a V panel shoring box for excavation safety from USA Bluebook for the cost of $25,465.50.
