State Senator Dave Syverson (R-Cherry Valley) participated in the Marengo Park District's annual Day in the Park event. The gathering was attended by families and community members who enjoyed various activities.

“Events like this are a great reminder of what makes our communities so special,” said Sen. Syverson. “We had a blast with the kids and appreciated the chance to help people with their questions. We’re already looking forward to next year.”

Senator Syverson and his team were present at a booth during the event, distributing materials, answering questions from constituents, and engaging children in building mini airplanes. The event aimed to provide families with an opportunity to enjoy summer activities, explore local resources, and spend time together.
